As fall is now in full swing in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s time for the orange pumpkins to make their appearance. Halloween is just around the corner and it’s one of my favourite times of the year, mainly to decorate!!
Living in Africa for quite some time, trick or treat was not something that was done, nor were there any fall decorations or anything of that sort as it was the beginning of spring in the Southern Hemisphere…
Strange how your perception changes when you just switch locations. This can be said about life in general, how, when we just change our location, either mentally, emotionally or sometimes even physically, the view can be completely different. This will allow us to have a fresh perspective on the topic in question.
I recently wrote a children’s book about Halloween and how having a passion for something might not be acceptable to all at the time. Taking the above mentioned in consideration, a change of view is sometimes as refreshing as spring in October, or fall in March …
